My approach is rooted in several guiding principles:

• Curiosity and wonder can uncover better questions and better solutions.
• Tackling complex challenges requires direct, clear, and open communication.
• No one individual or organization has all the answers; reflection and humility are necessary for growth and improvement.
• The best solutions are community-identified and community-led. Organizations and networks should play a supporting role to uplift community efforts.
• Sectors with power and resources should wield that power to work toward equity for priority issues and communities
• Envisioning a better future and working towards it should be inspiring; let’s find and uplift the joy in this work.
